1. Data controller
JAMARKET, UNIP, LDA., tax no. (NIPC) 510 502 601, with registered office at São Paulo, 3230-023 Cumeeira, Penela (Portugal), is the controller responsible for the personal data collected through the online store jamarket.pt. Contact: info@jamarket.eu · +351 236 623 129.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email address and password (encrypted).
- Order data: billing and shipping address, phone number and purchase history.
- Payment data: handled directly by the payment providers (EuPago, PayPal). We do not store full card details.
- Communications: messages sent through the contact form.
- Browsing data: only strictly necessary cookies (see the Cookie Policy).
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Managing orders and the customer account — performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Invoicing and compliance with tax and legal obligations — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
- Customer support — performance of the contract / legitimate interest.
- Marketing communications — only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you may withdraw at any time.
4. Recipients
We share data only with providers that support us in operating the store, to the extent necessary: payments (EuPago, PayPal), shipping (NACEX), transactional email (Brevo) and site hosting. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
5. International transfers
Some providers (e.g. PayPal) may process data outside the European Economic Area. In those cases we ensure appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
6. Retention periods
We keep account data while the account remains active, and billing data for the legally required period (as a rule, 10 years for tax purposes). Data processed on the basis of consent is kept until you withdraw it.
7. Your rights
You may exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and withdraw consent, by contacting info@jamarket.eu. To verify your identity we may ask for proportionate additional information; a full copy of your ID document is not required.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority — the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD), www.cnpd.pt.
8. Security
We adopt appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption of connections (HTTPS) and of passwords.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated; the version in force is the one published on this page, with its respective date.
